Tumbling Tigers March Team Notes
February was certainly a busy month. I want to thank all of you that helped our community project be a success. Thanks to all the parents that helped make our home meets work so well. And thank you to those who participated in the survey with your thoughts; constructive or otherwise. I know how much you care about this program and your kids. I can’t reiterate enough how important it is to let the coach’s coach and the parents be supportive. As Ihave stated before, it becomes a huge conflict for the gymnast if the parent starts coaching, and it will ultimately hurt their gymnastics. As always, please make sure your payments are up to date and current through the previous month.
I am still waiting for the rest of our uniform order to be sent to us. I am happy to say that most all the girls at Levels 4-8 have qualified for States, and very few have yet to qualify for Regionals and Nationals. They are working hard and learning to take risks and push their limits of comfort which you must do in this sport if you are planning on being an Optional gymnast someday. Here are the times and dates for this month’s meets:

As soon as you take this exit, you need to get over to the second to the left lane, (the other lanes merge and become exit only lanes). Take the Rte. 20 connector to the Rte. 20 exit. It is the exit after Hamilton Road, (the Rte. 20 sign is sometimes partially covered with trees). Follow Rte. 20 all the way to Granby Center (about 5 ½ miles). There is a 4-way stop light at this intersection. Turn left onto Rte. 10/202. Go about 1.6 miles and the entrance to the YMCA will be on your right, just past the Stop and Shop plaza which is on the left. The address is 97 Salmon Brook St., Granby, CT. Allow about 1 hr driving time.
SATURDAY, MARCH 21st WESTERN MASS LEAGUE

DIRECTIONS: Take 91 South to the Mass Pike. Go west on the pike and get off at the 1st exit. At the bottom of the exit, take a right. Continue through town toward the Common. Take a right onto Court Street. The YMCA is right after the Courthouse on the right. The driveway to the parking lot is between the Courthouse and the YMCA.
