March 2009 Gymnast Profiles

Victoria, Skylar, Colleen, Keyla, Mairead

Victoria, 6yrs – Level 2

She attends 1st grade in Deerfield. She has a sister, Celia. Her pets include a bunny named Bella and a hamster named Faith. She also likes to play soccer, dance, skate, ski, sing and do art. Her favorite things to do in gymnastics are front limbers, vault, bars, and the back handspring machine.  When she gets older she wants to be an artist and a nurse.

Skylar, 10yrs – Level 3

She attends 5th grade in Hatfield. She has two brothers, Kyle and Austin. She has several pets named Turbo, Sootie, Nadalie, Bird, and Easter. Her favorite things to do other than gymnastics, include playing her trombone, bike riding, and swinging on the swings. She likes everything about gymnastics!   When she gets older she wants to be a gymnast and a lawyer.

Colleen, 13yrs – Level 4

She attends 6th grade in Shutesbury. She has 3 brothers, Tim, Ben, and Kyle. Her pets include her guinea pig, Lynsey, cats Goode and Bean, and her dog, Clue.  She enjoys all animals, cooking, music, stuffed animals, and hanging out with her friends along with gymnastics. Her favorite things in gymnastics are back walkovers, front walkovers, and back handsprings. When she gets older, she would like to be a great gymnast and own an animal shelter. 

Kayla, 10yrs – Level 6

She attends 5th grade in Deerfield. She has 4 brothers, Alex, Ben, Jeffrey, and Stephen, and 1 sister, Mary. Her pets include 2 golden retrievers named Ginger and Kipper. Other things she enjoys along with gymnastics include school and hanging with her friends. Her favorite thing to do in gymnastics is the floor. When she gets older, she would love to be a coach!

Mairead, 12 yrs – Level 8

She attends 7th grade at Frontier. She has 2 sisters named Brigit and Fiona. Her pets include 3 gerbils. Other than gymnastics, she enjoys playing the cello, dancing, reading, and geography. As a gymnast she enjoys performing giants, aerials, and other bar and floor skills. When she gets older, she would love to go to the Olympics and be a Chemist.
